the call has been running for
...the last call made it ... before this one, and the one before that made it ....
the old call ended again, this time because discord went down for 10 minutes (status page screenshot), so the call restarted on .... the call before that one ended the boring way: nobody was left in it.
the group chat has been dead since the call before this one started — school came back the same week. ... of it now: messages still land in there, just in bursts, with long quiet stretches in between.
seven of us sit in one discord call that refuses to end. somebody is always recording it, somebody cuts it down, and the update videos go on youtube so you do not have to live in the vc yourself.
almost everyone here has the keys to the youtube channel. discord usernames stay off this page, that was the deal. hit play on a card if someone left a voice message.
Thumbnails, most of the update videos, and the voice you hear over them. Also records a big chunk of the call, because someone has to. Gets a year older every September 23rd (lamp's birthday).
Records almost the entire thing. If there is footage of LDC Revived, odds are Brett had the capture running (However his NUC crashed at one point, where he records to his NAS). Then he lost the NUC's power supply right before school started. The replacement landed somewhere around the 3rd to the 6th, he said he would swap it in on the 10th, and as of the 12th it is still sitting there.
runs a discord account off his server pc around the clock so it can never drop out of the call. that one is an alt, his main stays free for normal calls. the real him has been scarce lately though: school means he only drops in every so often, mostly on weekends.
when the call thins out to one or two people, Astro Steven is the one still in there keeping it going. the quiet hours are his shift.
picks up videos when they need picking up. not every week, but when a cut lands it lands.
makes a video once in a blue moon. kdenlive reset his keybinds, so honestly, respect for still opening it.
did the outro voiceover on one of the videos. one line in the credits, permanent spot on the roster. same trick as Wietse for the call itself: the account sitting in there is an alt, his main stays free for normal calls. once went away for almost a whole week and just left his pc running the entire time so the call would not die, and he is still doing his part keeping it going.
possibly too inactive, if he doesn't join the call in a while he's kicked out.
walked in at half two one afternoon to cover while Brett's NUC is still a paperweight, so this might be a short stay — depends entirely on that power supply. got handed the keys to the youtube channel too.

Here from the very beginning. Left over drama that had nothing to do with the rest of us. No beef on this end.
joined, then mostly just wasn't around. way too inactive and way too offline to count as being in the call, so he's out.
came in through Crecher to take the seat Th3ou1d3x left empty. a few days later he blocked and left every one of our servers out of nowhere, no explanation given.
